Many of you already know Bill for his "legendary" annual mushroom hunts in Ireland. These typically consist of a day in the countryside collecting wild mushrooms with good food and wine, for lunch. Mushrooms are identified and tasted and people are given the opportunity to learn a little about wild mushrooms. Hundreds of Irish people have been introduced to the pleasures of collecting and eating wild mushrooms through these events since they began in 1998.
Collecting and eating wild mushrooms in ireland is very much a minority interest unlike the rest of Europe where it is a normal and very much enjoyed, part of everyday life.
Our events are usually popular and places are limited, so early booking is advisible to avoid disappointment.
