Welcome to Mushroomstuff. If you are a person with a love of nature and good food, then we hope you get some value from your visit.

This website has been setup as an extension of our mushroom hunting activity. We have been running mushroom hunts in Ireland since 1998. Our mushroom hunts were founded on the principal of collecting good food from the wild in harmony with the seasons.

All of our events for 2009 are completed.  To be kept informed on future events please register  your details  on the  contact us page and we will keep you informed with the occasional email. Our plans are typically only formulated within a month or six weeks of the event date.

To view pictures from our previous events including our recent mushroom hunt in Asturias then please go to the  mushroom hunts tab and click on any of the specific events, where you will find some great photos under the different events. This is a good place to get an idea of what our hunts and trips are like. Also take a look at a clip of one of our hunts on the RTE "Living the Wildlife" nature series. Also listen to the following excellent radio programme  made by Michael Lemass on one of our hunts in Avondale.and broadcast on Dublin South FM 93.9.

.

We will be including mushroom related products and good food items in our shop, as well as other items that we feel may be of interest to our community. We currently have a fungi gift pack available as an unusual Christmas gift option.

Please keep in mind that all our hunts and trips are booked out rapidly, so it is best to register to ensure that you are kept informed of plans as they are confirmed.
